ミステリアス・ジャパン/Mysterious Japan
ここ数年、日本文化は世界で高い評価を得ているようです。この現象は単純な一過性のブームではないように思えます。むしろ、世界の潮流や常識が、新たな価値観を求めて方向を変えようとしているとも捉えられます。今までの潮流や常識とは、欧米一辺倒の価値観であったといえます。それはグローバリゼーションであり、その起源ははるか昔のヨーロッパを含むユーラシア大陸から始まったものでした。
In recent years, Japanese culture seems to be highly regarded worldwide. This phenomenon does not seem to be a simple, fleeting fad. Rather, it can be seen as a shift in global trends and common sense, seeking new values. The trends and common sense up until now could be described as a Western-centric value system. This is globalization, and its origins lie far back in the Eurasian continent, including Europe.
原始的グローバリズムは、アジアで巨大になった遊牧民族の台頭です。それらの勢力がヨーロッパを脅かし、ヨーロッパ人たちが追いやられる形で十字軍が結成され、さらに新大陸を求めて大航海時代へと拡大します。単純に考えるなら、グローバリズムとは「力による支配と服従」の歴史のことです。
The original form of globalization was the rise of nomadic peoples who became powerful in Asia. These forces threatened Europe, leading to the Crusades as Europeans were driven out, and further expanding into the Age of Exploration in search of the New World. そのような過酷な世界史の中、日本は国外勢力の侵略や支配を免れ、植民地にされることも無く生き延びてきました。日本は縄文時代から今日まで、長い時間をかけて純粋培養された稀有な国と言えます。ですから、日本人の文化や精神性は他国にはない特殊なものと海外の人々に思われるのです。不思議な国日本、まさにミステリアス・ジャパンですね。

先進国の危機/Crisis in Developed Countries
今、世界の良識ある人々は、自らの歴史や文明が限界を迎えていると感じているはずです。いつまでたっても無くならない対立や戦争。そして格差や貧困。確かに先進国といわれる国々は、途上国に対して多くの支援を行ってきました。しかしそれらがまともに使われているのか？ 貧しい国は貧しいままで固定されているから移民問題が起こるのではないか？ 欧米、そして日本でも移民問題がクローズアップされてきました。支援する側の先進国の足元が危うくなってきているのです。
Today, people of good conscience around the world must feel that their own history and civilization are reaching their limits. Conflicts and wars that never disappear, and inequality and poverty. Certainly, the so-called developed countries have provided a lot of support to developing countries. But is that support being used properly? Isn’t the immigration problem caused by poor countries remaining poor and fixed in that state? Immigration problems have been highlighted in Europe, the United States, and Japan. The foundations of the developed countries providing support are becoming shaky.
長らく肯定的に捉えられてきたグローバリズム。これについて、否定的な考えが世界中に拡散しています。先進国の支援のための予算の多くは「支配」のために使われてきたのではないだろうか？ そのような疑問が生まれてきました。それを糾弾し外科的大手術を断行しているのが、米国トランプ政権といえます。彼の政策に呼応するかのように、欧州でも南米でも、そして日本でも保守的政治の声が上がっています。

米国の巨額な途上国支援の予算は、CIAなどの諜報機関の工作のために使われてきたことが明らかになりつつあります。つまり、途上国の世論工作や政権転覆、あるいは紛争の激化、などに予算が使われてきたのです。なぜこのような事が長年許されてきたのでしょうか。それはこれらのことで潤う産業や政治家などが存在するからです。米国の巨額な国家予算を工作機関の思うままにすることは、まさに先進国の危機といえます。
